In this guide, we’ll walk through the key concepts of the Seasonal Kingdom (SK) in Total Battle to help you achieve strong results throughout the season.
The Seasonal Kingdom is a separate, closed environment designed primarily for obtaining Mythical Captains (such as Heimdall, Scadi, or Beowulf) and Mythical Artifacts (like Heart of the Forest and Crown of the Forest).

You will start with a new account (new Hero): By default, your city buildings and Guards begin at level 2, or level 3 if you completed the objectives in the pre-season event Dawn of the Season.
For every Guard level you unlock starting from G6 (inclusive), you will receive a Mythical Reward Chest. This chest can be claimed either on your main account or your SK account—but once claimed, it cannot be transferred.
Each Mythical Chest grants one reward, typically 200 fragments of a Captain or Artifact, allowing you to upgrade it by one star.

The most common strategy is to reach at least Guard Level 6 (G6) to secure meaningful rewards before the SK ends (the season lasts approximately 90 days). However, reaching G7 is generally achievable without too much difficulty. Progressing to G8 or G9 will require more effort, some luck, and likely a financial investment.
Keep in mind that you can only make one selection per chest, meaning each chest contributes to a single Captain or Artifact upgrade.
For example, if you reach G8, you will obtain three Mythical Chests, allowing you to:
-Select the same Captain three times to increase their star level by +3
-Choose two Captain rewards and one Artifact
-Unlock three different Captains (not recommended for beginners, as each would only be at 1 star)
-Upgrade previous selections if you have already played SK before
Additionally, if you are among the first 100 players in your SK to reach G6 or higher, you will receive an extra Mythical Chest.
At the end of the SK, a final event called Season’s Legacy will give you another opportunity to obtain additional Mythical rewards.
You can send these rewards to your main account or keep them on your SK account, but remember, once claimed, this decision is final.
Once the SK ends, your SK account will become a regular account, which you can transfer to any open kingdom in the game.
It’s also important to note that SK features a much faster progression pace, making it significantly easier to gain VP and increase your power. With a relatively relaxed playstyle, reaching 150-300 million power is quite achievable. More dedicated or experienced players can surpass 500 million, and even reach 1 billion power by the end of the season.
Because of this, there is one important consideration:
If your main account is currently below 100–200 million power, it may be worth considering - once the SK ends - switching to your SK account as your new main account, especially if it offers better long-term progression.
Dawn of the Season is a pre-season event lasting around 12 days, designed to prepare players for the upcoming Seasonal Kingdom.
It provides valuable early advantages—most importantly, the ability to start the SK with a level 3 city and G3 Guards by completing personal objectives. This makes it a crucial phase for gaining an early edge over other players.

During this event, you progress through the rankings and earn rewards by accumulating XP with your hero and captains. Because of this, proper preparation is key:
-Save all XP packs you obtain (for example, from the Ragnarok shop) and avoid using them until the event begins.
-Hold onto your Achievements (Tasks tab) and claim them during the event to gain a significant XP boost.
Key points Dawn of the Season:
-Head Start Advantage: Completing objectives allows you to begin the SK at level 3 instead of the standard level 2.
-Preparation & Rewards: You can earn valuable titles and materials that will support your early progression.
-Limited Duration: The event typically runs for just under two weeks before the Seasonal Kingdom opens.
To progress efficiently in the Seasonal Kingdom, keep the following key strategies in mind.
The first days of the SK are critical. Fast growth from the very beginning is essential.
-It is highly recommended (almost mandatory) to purchase the “Rapid Development” pack (~$5). This provides instant completion, greatly increased march speed, and drastically reduced resurrection costs—giving you a massive early advantage. Keep in mind that Rapid Development expires once your Capitol reaches level 20, so make sure to upgrade all your buildings to level 19 before taking that final step. This way, you maximize its value and avoid missing out on free upgrades.
-Join a strong clan immediately. Most top SK clans require the Golden Pass, so without it, accessing competitive clans will be difficult.
-Be aware that SK clans enforce weekly chest requirements, and failure to meet them can result in removal.
-Focus early on upgrading your city and earning as much VP (Victory Points) as possible through events.
-Try to unlock Alrick as soon as possible—he is widely considered the best hero for SK progression.
Later, depending on your playstyle or clan progression, you may consider alternatives like:
-Haemon (especially when your clan has advanced research)
-Thaddeus, Svyatogor, or Meriones
Avoid Eirin, as her benefits are not well suited to a closed kingdom environment.
The SK is a fully open PvP environment:
-If you are not protected, you will be attacked—frequently.
-This applies to cities, portals, resource tiles, Dragon Mounds, and Oil sites.
-The only loosely respected structures are clan buildings.
Always maintain your Peace Shield.
Avoid using portals carelessly, experienced players can attack so quickly that you won’t have time to react, even if you are online.
Crypts:
-Keep in mind that Crypts can be stolen, there’s no courtesy here. If you see another player’s march (red line) heading to a Crypt and you believe you can arrive faster, go for it.
- That said, don’t waste your speedups early on. If you’re unable to complete a Crypt in a single march, there’s a high chance another player will take it from you.
-The same applies to Rare Crypts. Some players actively wait for them to appear just to steal them, so if you open one, make sure you can reach and complete it as quickly as possible.
Avoid wasting resources on unnecessary research such as:
-March speed
-Caravan speed
-Training speed
-Engineering troops
-Logistics, economy, specialists
Instead, focus exclusively on:
-Crypts
-Guards
-Monsters
Always aim to join the strongest clan that will accept you.
To improve your chances:
-Invest in Carter and his equipment.
-Reaching level 25 Crypts in a single march will open many doors.
Occurs approximately every 4 days.
If possible, upgrade your Guard level during Ragnarok to to get the maximum number of coins from the shop and spend them in the next Ragnarok.
Even if you cannot level up Guards, participate actively.
Make sure to buy essential items from the shop, such as:
-VP packs
-XP packs
-Speedups
-Dragon Coins
Don’t overlook the daily mini-events. These short events last 4 hours and rotate several times throughout the day.
Some of the most common ones include:
-Castle Development
-Scientific Progress
-Call of Duty
-Crypt Raider
-Oil Mastery
-and others
Make sure to check regularly which event is active. With proper planning and preparation, you can secure multiple titles each week.
Since SK is a closed kingdom, competition is limited compared to regular servers. Reaching the top 100 players in an event is usually enough to earn the corresponding title, which provides valuable temporary bonuses that can significantly boost your progression.
You can check the events calendar on the following website (it will appear when SK starts): https://akurier.pl/events
If you have multiple main accounts, consider creating additional SK accounts.
-If they spawn in the same SK, they can serve as resource and silver farms.
-Join a mid-level clan, keep a low profile, and focus on: Guards and Crypts
Your main goal is to maximize silver production to support your primary account.
Your priority in SK should always be:
Maximize VP gains and focus ONLY on Guards, Monsters, and Crypts. Ignore everything else.
Regarding CP (Conquest Points), keep in mind that it is much easier to obtain in SK, so take advantage of it whenever possible.
In terms of spending CP, one of the best investments you can make is in:
-Army Modernization
-Monster Boosts
These tend to provide far more value than investing in Specialists, especially during SK progression.
Kingdom chat is often noisy and unhelpful.
Focus only on your clan chat for coordination and communication.
The Seasonal Kingdom is, without a doubt, a fast-paced environment where everything moves quickly. If you aim to stay in a top clan, it will also be demanding—you’ll be expected to consistently meet Crypt targets and, in many cases, have the Golden Pass.
At the same time, don’t neglect your main kingdom. Take a few minutes each day to log in, contribute, and at least meet your minimum Crypt requirements there. Maintaining both accounts properly will pay off in the long run.
Remember that SK is not just about grinding—it’s also about making smart decisions. Managing your resources, choosing the right upgrades, and planning your progression will make a bigger difference than simply playing more hours.
Most importantly, stay consistent. Even small daily progress adds up significantly over the course of the 90-day season.
We wish you the best of luck in your Seasonal Kingdom journey—and remember, the PAW team will be there to support you every step of the way.
