CP Race – Overview, Registration & Participation Guide

What Is a CP Race?

A CP Race is a coordinated clan activity designed to maximize the amount of CP earned by participating players.

During the race, several clan members send reinforcements to a designated city. The attack is performed using a carefully controlled number of Corax II units, which are among the best units in the game for generating CP.

The objective is to allow every participant to obtain a similar amount of CP while keeping the number of units in each march within predetermined limits.

The target player will use Corax II units to attack the incoming marches. When the Corax units strike one participant's army, the rest of the participants immediately follow up and eliminate them. This creates a continuous sequence of battles and allows everyone involved to generate a large amount of CP.

Because the number of units sent by each participant directly affects the CP obtained, the established unit limits must be followed strictly. This ensures that the race remains fair and that participants receive comparable CP gains.

How to Register for a CP Race

Before every CP Race, the clan will announce the event details and the chat that must be used for registration.

Please always check the clan announcements before the event.

1. Register Your Starting CP

Before the race begins, post your current CP total in the designated registration chat.

You can find your current CP at the top of your screen.

Example: Current CP: 100B

This number is your starting reference and must be recorded before sending any troops.

2. Participate in the Race

Follow the instructions provided in the event chat regarding:

  • Start time

  • Reinforcement destination

  • Number and type of troops to send

  • Payment destination

  • Any additional instructions specific to the race

Send your troops as close to the start of the race as possible. If you send them too early, the city leading the race risks being attacked and losing your army.

3. Record Your Final CP

When the CP Race has finished, check your CP total again.

Example:

Starting CP: 100B
Final CP: 180B

4. Calculate Your CP Gain

Subtract your starting CP from your final CP.

Example:

180B − 100B = 80B CP gained

Post your final CP and/or CP gain in the registration chat as requested by the organizers.

5. Pay for the CP You Earned

The cost of the race is calculated according to the agreed silver price per billion CP.

For example, if the established rate is:

1M Silver = 1B CP

and you gained:

80B CP

your payment will be:

80M Silver*

*Please note that additional caravan taxes may apply to the payment (+20%).

The event announcement will specify the city to which the payment must be sent.

CP Race Stack Limits

To make CP Races fair for everyone, we use predefined stack limits.

These limits are designed to ensure that participants receive a similar amount of CP regardless of their individual troop strength.

Do not exceed the limits.

Sending more troops than the established maximum can give you an unfair advantage and may also affect the balance of the race.

G8 / S8 Configuration

  • Mounted: max. 10K

  • Melee: max. 20K

  • Ranged: max. 20K

  • Mounted: max. 10K

  • Melee: max. 20K

  • Ranged: max. 20K

Tier 8 Monsters

  • Maximum 50 units of each type

Mercenaries

  • Maximum 500 units of each type

G7 / S7 Configuration

Guardians

  • Mounted: max. 20K

  • Melee: max. 40K

  • Ranged: max. 40K

Specialists

  • Flying: max. 4K

  • Melee: max. 40K

  • Ranged: max. 40K

Tier 7 Monsters

  • Maximum 100 units of each type

Mercenaries

  • Maximum 500 units of each type

Other Guardian Tiers

The following adjustments apply to other tiers:

  • G9: Use half the number of Guardians, Specialists and Monsters established for G8.

  • G6: Use double the number established for G7.

These limits apply to the corresponding troop categories and should be followed even if you have stronger units available.

Important: Unit Tier Restrictions

You may send only one tier of each unit type.

For example:

  • If you send G8, you cannot also send G7.

  • If you send M8, you cannot also send M7.

  • If you send S8, you cannot also send S7.

However, mixed tiers are allowed when you have not unlocked the higher tier for that particular category.

For example:

You may send G8 + S7 if you have G8 unlocked but have not unlocked S8.

The important rule is:

Do not mix tiers of a troop type when you have access to the higher tier.

Hero, Captains, Bonuses & Artifacts

Correct march configuration is extremely important. Your objective is to maximize CP generation while keeping your army configuration within the race rules.

Hero & Captains

Hero

  • Your hero must be included in the march.

Captain Dustan

  • Captain Dustan is mandatory: His CP-related bonus significantly improves the amount of CP generated during the race.

Additional Captains

You must select two additional captains that increase army strength.

Valid examples include:

  • Heimdall

  • Beowulf

  • Skadi

  • Cleopatra

  • Aydae

  • Amanitore

  • And other captains whose bonuses directly improve army strength

Forbidden Captains

Do not use economy or utility captains.

Examples of captains that must not be used include:

  • Hercules

  • Carter

  • Doria

  • Other captains whose bonuses do not contribute to the army's combat strength

If you are unsure whether a captain is acceptable, ask the race organizer before sending your march.

Artifacts

Pay close attention to your active artifacts before sending your march.

Your artifacts should provide bonuses that contribute to army strength or Guardian strength.

Forbidden Utility Artifacts

Do not use utility artifacts such as:

  • Lantern

  • Pickaxe

  • Torch

  • Other economic or utility artifacts

The purpose of the march is to maximize combat performance and CP generation, not economic bonuses.

Bonuses & Equipment

Personal CP Bonus

Your Personal CP Bonus is mandatory.

Make sure it is active before the race starts.

Other Bonuses

The following bonuses are highly recommended:

  • Army Strength

  • XP

These can improve the efficiency of your march and the overall results of the race.

Equipment

Equipment is optional.

You may use equipment if desired, but it is not mandatory for participation.

Important Rules

Fairness is the priority.

Please follow the instructions exactly. Do not increase your troop numbers, change your configuration, or use forbidden captains/artifacts in an attempt to gain additional CP.

If you are unsure about any part of your march, ask the CP Race organizer before sending it.

Finally, always follow the instructions in the specific CP Race announcement. Individual races may have additional rules or requirements depending on the setup.

Good luck, and enjoy the race!
